Clonabreany House Wedding Photography & Film

Relaxed, cinematic wedding photography and film at Clonabreany House.

In the County Meath countryside, Clonabreany House combines a restored Georgian house, courtyards and a permanent Grand Marquee. It is a setting with room for both a lively celebration and quieter moments away from the crowd.

At McGlade Photography & Film, we capture the day naturally as it unfolds, with gentle direction when you need it and plenty of time to enjoy being with your guests.

Weddings at Clonabreany House

The Orchard Room and Tunnel Wood offer different settings for ceremonies, while the Main House and Grand Marquee shape the reception. Whether your vows take place on the estate or in a nearby church, we build the photography around your chosen route through the day.

If you are having a church ceremony or getting ready away from the venue, we include travel and arrival time in the plan. When everything is on site, we can use that breathing space to keep the pace relaxed.

We coordinate family photographs and a short portrait session around your meal call. A handful of carefully chosen locations is usually all we need.

Wedding Photography at Clonabreany House

The house, courtyard, woodland and grounds provide a varied backdrop for portraits. We choose the locations that suit the light and the time available, allowing for any walk between your ceremony, drinks reception and portrait spots.

A relaxed twenty to thirty minutes is usually a good starting point. We give you enough direction to feel comfortable, then leave room for conversation, movement and the little moments between you.

Country-House Character and Woodland Light

The open countryside has a different mood from the woodland and courtyard. We can use that contrast for a varied set of photographs without asking you to disappear for a long session. Indoor options are planned around the rooms being used by your guests.

Photography & Film — One Team

When you book both, we work as one small coordinated team. Your photographs and film share a natural, cinematic approach, with your plans guiding the day.

The landscape establishes where it all happened. Your people, their reactions and the words they share give the story its meaning.

Wedding Films at Clonabreany House

Your wedding film brings back the movement, atmosphere and voices of the day. A cinematic highlights film tells the story, while full ceremony and speeches films preserve the words you will want to hear again.

The vows, the readings, a parent’s speech and the laughter that follows a good story become part of something you can revisit together.

The house, courtyard and woodland give your film a sense of the setting, while the atmosphere of the ceremony and Grand Marquee celebrations brings the story to life.

Cinematic Next Day Edit

For couples who want a short film to share while the celebrations still feel fresh, ask us about the Cinematic Next Day Edit. Created in a vertical format, it brings together the people, movement and feeling of the day.

We will explain exactly what is included in your chosen collection when you enquire.

A Relaxed Clonabreany House Wedding Timeline

Morning preparations

We plan our arrival around your ceremony time and preparation locations, allowing space for details, family and the excitement building before you leave.

Ceremony and congratulations

Natural coverage of the vows and reactions, followed by time to greet your guests. If your ceremony is off site, we include the journey back to the estate.

Family photographs

A short list agreed beforehand helps us organise the important groups efficiently.

Couple portraits

Allow around twenty to thirty minutes for a few well-chosen locations, then return to your drinks reception.

Dinner, speeches and evening

We work around the venue’s meal call. With photography and film together, the speeches can be recorded in full. If the evening light offers something special, we may suggest another short portrait break before the first dance.

What If It Rains at Clonabreany House?

We plan indoor alternatives around the reception spaces and the rooms available on your date. Short breaks in the rain can work well for portraits around the house and courtyard. If you are hoping for a woodland ceremony, agree the wet-weather ceremony plan with the venue team in advance.

Wedding Albums

Our Photography Collection includes a customisable 12 × 8 inch Italian Storybook Wedding Album. Designed around your favourite photographs, it brings the full story together in something you can hold and share. Smaller 6 × 4 inch parent albums are also available to discuss.

Clonabreany House Wedding Photography FAQs

FAQ

How do we plan the photography around our venue?

Before the wedding, we go through your ceremony time, preparation locations, meal call and the photographs that matter most to you. We coordinate the plan with your venue and keep portrait locations close together wherever possible, so you can spend more of the day with your guests.

How much time should we allow for couple photographs?

We normally recommend around 20–30 minutes during the drinks reception, rather than disappearing for a long portrait session. If the evening light is particularly beautiful, we may suggest stepping outside again for another ten minutes later in the day.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

We plan indoor alternatives with the venue team and watch for short breaks in the weather. Good window light, sheltered spots and a little flexibility can give us beautiful photographs. We will keep you comfortable and adjust the plan to the conditions.

Can you cover both partners getting ready?

We can plan for both sets of preparations where the locations, timings and booked team allow. Tell us where you will each be getting ready and we will explain how to make the morning work, including whether an additional team member would be helpful.

Do you provide both photography and wedding film?

Yes. We offer photography and cinematic wedding film with one coordinated team, as well as photography collections. Ask us about the albums, full films and short vertical edits available with your preferred coverage.
