Wedding enquiries

This notice explains how McGlade Photography & Film handles website enquiries. We are responsible for this information. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

We collect the names, email address, wedding details and message you enter, together with any optional telephone number. Name and email details are needed to respond; you can leave optional details blank or contact us by email instead. Please share only information relevant to your enquiry, and avoid sending sensitive personal information through this form. If you include another person's details, please let them know about this notice.

We use your information to answer questions, discuss availability and prepare a quotation. Where you ask about booking our services, we process the necessary information to take steps at your request before entering a contract. Our legitimate interests are handling general enquiries and information about other people included in your enquiry, keeping a useful record of our conversation, and protecting the form from spam and duplicate submissions. We limit this processing to what is necessary for those purposes. Submitting an enquiry does not reserve a date or confirm a booking.

Cloudflare runs the website enquiry service and spam protection. Your accepted enquiry is saved to our private Notion enquiry inbox and sent to our Google business email account. These services and their authorised service providers process information to supply their services. Sending this form does not subscribe you to marketing.

These providers operate internationally, including in the United States, and information may be processed outside the UK or European Economic Area. Their data-processing terms provide for recognised transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses with the applicable UK addendum where required. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your enquiry.

For a new enquiry that does not become a booking, we remove the enquiry record from our active Notion and email records within 12 months of our last substantive conversation. If an enquiry becomes a booking, relevant information becomes part of the booking record and is kept while needed to provide the service, meet record-keeping obligations or deal with a dispute. Information needed for a specific legal obligation or ongoing dispute may be kept longer for that purpose; we review it when that need ends. Deleted information may remain temporarily in the providers' recovery systems and backups under their deletion schedules.

The enquiry service removes its temporary delivery copy once both inbox deliveries succeed. If delivery remains unresolved, it removes that copy after 30 days from receipt at the next eligible scheduled cleanup. Minimal receipt identifiers, a fingerprint of the submission and delivery status are removed at the first scheduled cleanup after 90 days from receipt. These receipts help prevent duplicates and investigate delivery problems; they do not contain your original message after the temporary copy is removed. Keyed rate-limit identifiers are removed after their one-hour expiry.

Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical browser and network information to distinguish genuine visitors from spam. Our enquiry service uses your IP address for the spam check and stores a keyed rate-limit identifier rather than the address. We do not include your enquiry details in website analytics or save them in browser storage. Automated delivery and spam checks help us handle enquiries; decisions about availability, quotations and bookings are made by us.

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, erase it, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. You also have a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including our use of your information for general enquiry handling, conversation records and form security. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights. We consider each request under the applicable data protection rules.

You can raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. Where EU data protection law applies, you may also contact the data protection authority where you live or work.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on our public website to understand visits, popular pages, referring websites and page performance. Reports include information such as the page visited, browser and device type, country and loading times. We use these reports to improve the website.

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics, and Cloudflare says it does not fingerprint individuals for its analytics. We do not send enquiry form contents to analytics. These reports are separate from the information you choose to submit in an enquiry.
