Garden portraits, champagne spray and a dance floor full of life
There’s a lovely lightness to Róisín and Will’s wedding photographs. White roses, pale blue, a cream dinner jacket and green gardens give the story its colour, with plenty of laughter running through it.
From the finishing touches to the dancing, this collection brings together the quieter portraits and the moments when everyone is simply enjoying themselves. The champagne photographs are a particular favourite.
White roses and window light
The preparations begin with the dress hanging in the doorway and the small details laid out together: rings, flowers, shoes and perfume. A view of the water adds a little sense of place to the opening photographs.
Róisín’s halterneck dress looks beautiful in the soft window light. Will’s cream jacket and black bow tie give his portraits a classic feel, with glasses raised among the men before the ceremony.
Together at the ceremony
The arrival photographs lead into a church ceremony full of smiles. We move from the wider view down the aisle to the expressions between Róisín and Will, the signing and a kiss together.
The wedding car photographs make a cheerful bridge into the next part of the gallery, with both of them smiling from the open window.
In the gardens at Ballymascanlon
The garden paths, flowers and leafy shade gave us a beautiful setting for the portraits. Some frames keep the surroundings in view; others come closer to the two of them beneath the trees.
Then came the sunglasses and champagne spray. Those photographs bring a playful change of pace before the wedding-party portraits and time with their guests.
A celebration with plenty of energy
The reception photographs are full of conversation, raised glasses and laughter. The cake sits beside the windows, while the lights behind the top table give the speeches a soft backdrop.
On the dance floor, the energy builds from the couple’s turns together to the guests joining in. There’s movement in the dress, hands in the air and some wonderful expressions to finish the story.
Róisín and Will, thank you for having us capture your wedding.
