Autumn colour, a little pool before the vows and sparklers after dark
Rachel and Eoin’s wedding at BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is full of autumn colour. Rust-red dresses, warm flowers and leaves around the porches give the photographs a beautiful seasonal feel.
There’s plenty of personality too: the men around the pool table before the ceremony, Rachel and Eoin celebrating just after the vows, and sparklers lighting up the evening. The quieter portraits sit naturally among all that energy.
Before the ceremony
The morning details include their personalised ring boxes, ribboned stationery and delicate lace. Rachel’s preparations move between the mirror, the window light and hugs before leaving.
Eoin’s photographs have a different rhythm, with a game of pool and plenty of laughter around him. The pale jacket gives a lovely contrast to the darker suits.
A ceremony full of smiles
The flowers around the entrance make a lovely frame for Rachel’s arrival. Inside, the pale walls, dark rafters and tall windows keep the setting simple around the couple and their guests.
There are some brilliant expressions after the vows, followed by signing photographs and the walk back down the aisle. It’s a sequence with a lovely sense of celebration.
Autumn portraits around BrookLodge
The porches, climbing leaves and garden paths gave us plenty of places for their portraits. We used the surrounding colour in the wider frames, then came closer for a kiss or a quiet moment together.
The little bridge and shaded doorways add variety without taking the story away from the two of them. The photographs feel very much at home in this autumn setting.
Speeches, sparklers and the evening party
Their guests bring warmth to the reception photographs, from hugs outside to the reactions during the speeches. Rachel and Eoin both appear with the microphone, with plenty of smiles around them.
After dark, the sparklers gave us a completely different look. Then the gallery moves onto the dance floor, with bright lights, raised hands and everyone getting involved.
