Ozge & Joe — Killeavy Castle
A garden wedding at Killeavy Castle Estate.
Blue shoes, peacock feathers and a ceremony beneath the trees. Ozge and Joe’s May wedding at Killeavy Castle Estate moves between the walled garden, sunlit grounds and the quieter rooms inside the castle.
It is a day with room for both a carefully composed family portrait and a very good laugh. The photographs follow that balance from the morning preparations to the last colours on the dance floor.

01 / THE STORY
Something blue
A pair of blue shoes and an embroidered ring cushion begin the story. Peacock feathers add a little colour before the dress is ready for the day.
02 / THE STORY
Before the garden ceremony
The preparations are bright and full of conversation, with help fastening a necklace and a few moments beside the window. Outside, Joe and his groomsmen make their way through the walled garden.
03 / THE STORY
An open-air ceremony
The garden becomes the setting for the ceremony, with guests gathered beneath the trees and stone walls around them. Roses, reactions, the exchange of rings and laughter at the signing table give this part of the day its character.
04 / THE STORY
Sunlit portraits in the grounds
After the ceremony, Ozge and Joe take a short walk through the grounds. The trees, bridge and castle provide very different frames, before a quiet indoor portrait beside the window and library shelves.
05 / THE STORY
Everyone together
There is a moment for everyone: a quick selfie, the whole group outside, and a seated family portrait in the castle. The formal arrangement gives way to laughter almost as soon as it is finished.
06 / THE STORY
Speeches and raised glasses
Blue details return at the place settings before the speeches begin. We stay with the raised glasses, smiles and guests laughing into their hands as the stories are told.
07 / THE STORY
A little after dark
The reception lights bring a stronger colour to the final photographs. Ozge and Joe dance with their guests, and the story ends with the two of them framed against the lights.
