REAL WEDDINGS · CO. ROSCOMMON
Lynsey & Jamie
A wedding at Kilronan Castle.
Warm castle rooms, teal dresses and a day full of small, lovely reactions. Lynsey and Jamie’s wedding at Kilronan Castle moved from the quiet of the morning to an evening with everyone on the dance floor.

01 / THE STORY
A room full of familiar faces.
White flowers, teal dresses and the warm colours of the castle rooms. Lynsey’s morning moves between the little details and the people around her: make-up in the mirror, earrings fastened and a helping hand with the dress.
There is room for both kinds of photograph here. The laughter with everyone gathered together, and the quieter window-light portraits before the ceremony.
02 / THE STORY
Over with Jamie.
The small preparations matter too: a tie straightened, a jacket buttoned and the younger members of the wedding party getting ready alongside Jamie.
A tablet on the sofa, a serious face above a bow tie and a glance between Jamie and a young attendant keep this part of the story wonderfully human.
03 / THE STORY
Everyone in the same room.
The red aisle and white flowers set the scene, but the expressions carry the ceremony. Lynsey makes her way down the staircase, the guests gather, and the wedding party takes its place.
The photographs move between Lynsey and Jamie and the people watching: a child on a chair, an exchanged look, rings, applause and the first walk back down the aisle together.
04 / THE STORY
A little time around the castle.
Kilronan gives this chapter a different pace. Deep window recesses, dark timber and the sweep of the staircase make space for quieter photographs together.
We move from the stone doorway to the warm interiors, with a small wedding guest joining Lynsey by the window. The close portrait beneath the veil belongs to this part of the day too: a simple moment with the rest of the room falling away.
05 / THE STORY
Back to the people.
Then it is back outside and back among everyone. There are hugs on the lawn, the wedding party walking together and a spin of the dress in front of the castle.
The photographs become busier again: bridesmaids laughing, conversations in the reception rooms and an ice cream for one of the younger guests. These little moments give the day its own personality.
06 / THE STORY
When the room joins in.
Flowers and warm light welcome everyone into the reception. Lynsey and Jamie arrive with their hands raised, and the celebration continues around the tables.
The best reactions are often a little way from the microphone. A laugh, a raised glass, a child taking a break on the patterned carpet: there is always more than one story happening in the room.
07 / THE STORY
Everyone on the floor.
The first dance gives way to a floor full of family and friends. Children are lifted up, hands go into the air and the evening photographs take on the colour and movement of the party.
A quiet kiss with sparklers closes the story. Lynsey and Jamie, thank you for letting us be part of it.
