Sunlit vows, portraits in the house and a celebration full of character
Ciaran and Ross’s wedding at Tulfarris has a lovely sense of light running through it. Sun falls across the ceremony, the trees frame their portraits, and the warm interiors give the quieter photographs a different mood.
Their pale cream and soft green suits work beautifully together. But beyond the colour and setting, it’s the expressions that make this collection: the smiles during the ceremony, the hugs with their guests and the laughter later on.
The morning at Tulfarris
The preparations are full of familiar little moments: helping with a tie, fastening a cuff and raising a glass together. The window light gave us space for individual portraits among the group photographs.
There’s a lovely balance between the details and the people around Ciaran and Ross, with plenty of smiles before the ceremony begins.
Vows in the sunshine
The ceremony took place outside, with trees and stonework around the gathering. Sunlight falls through the leaves, and the wider photographs show their guests sitting close around them.
The ring exchange and kiss bring us in nearer. Afterwards, the archway makes a beautiful frame for the two of them, with their guests still visible behind.
Quiet moments in the house and grounds
Inside, the shelves, curtains and window light gave the portraits a warm, intimate feel. There’s a kiss beside the books and a playful moment at the chess table, alongside the more composed photographs.
Outside again, we used the trees and open grounds for a different look. Walking together beneath the leaves and stopping for a photograph on the lawn gave us some lovely variety.
Their people and the evening celebrations
The photographs with their guests include big hugs, glasses raised and a few playful details from the reception. A painting of the couple appears later in the gallery, adding another personal touch to the day.
The speeches brought both laughter and quieter reactions. Then it was onto the dance floor, with Ciaran and Ross surrounded by their guests and a room full of movement.
