Music at the ceremony, a four-legged guest and portraits by the water
Caoilinn and Mikey’s wedding photographs have some wonderful surprises in them. There’s Caoilinn playing the violin in her wedding dress, a welcome beneath raised hurleys, and a dog getting right into the celebrations outside the church.
Alongside those moments, the collection has soft window-light portraits, photographs beside the sea and river, and a festive reception at the Falls Hotel. It’s a story with plenty of character.
The finishing touches
The morning photographs begin with the dress, flowers and jewellery before moving into the bustle of getting ready. A Christmas tree glows behind the group photographs, while the window light gives the quieter portraits a softer feel.
Caoilinn’s veil and gloves are lovely details in these frames. There are smiles at the mirror, a kiss on the cheek and the wedding car waiting outside.
Music and a memorable church exit
One of the standout photographs is Caoilinn playing the violin during the ceremony. It gives this part of the gallery a very personal detail, alongside the readings, vows and expressions between the couple.
Outside, the raised hurleys made a striking arch for their exit. The dog joining them at the church door brought another lovely moment, with Mikey laughing as he held it.
Portraits beside the water
The portraits move between the open coast and a more sheltered setting beside the water at the hotel. Caoilinn’s veil catches the air in the coastal photographs, while the closer frames concentrate on the two of them.
We also used the garden arch and the softer light around the grounds. The mix of wider photographs, quiet embraces and little details gives this part of the story room to breathe.
A festive celebration at the Falls Hotel
Back inside, the Christmas decorations and warm lights frame the photographs with their guests. Candlelit tables and the illustrated table cards add more details to the reception story.
The speeches brought plenty of smiles before the cake and dancing. By the end of the gallery, the floor is busy, hands are in the air and the music is very much part of the photographs again.
Caoilinn and Mikey, thank you for having us capture it all.
